There are two scholarship programs run by the Amador Valley High School PTSA awarded to seniors graduating from Amador Valley High School.
The Merit Scholarship is intended to recognize well-rounded students who intend to continue their education at a four-year college, community college, or vocational school.
The Community Service Scholarship is intended to recognize students who plan to continue their education at a four-year college, community college, or vocational school, who have had significant experience and given support in community service.
To be eligible for the AVHS PTSA scholarships, you must have been a member of the PTSA during your junior and senior years.
To verify that you were a PTSA member during your JUNIOR year (2019-2020) and SENIOR year(2020-2021), check this file: 2019-2021 Membership Lists. If you believe you were a member last year, but your name does not appear in the file, please email the Scholarship Committee and we will try to verify your membership some other way. If you did not attend Amador Valley High School during your junior year, you only need to be a member of the PTSA for 2020-2021.

Typically the scholarships awarded are worth $500 each. Scholarship winners will be notified by email.
