TEACHERS, Staff & Student Club Grants
The PTSA is able to offer grants for teachers, staff and clubs for the 2019-2020 school year due to its generous members. Grant funds are used to enhance and support the awesome learning environment at Amador. To apply for a Grant, click here to complete and submit the application form.
Each Grant Application is reviewed by the Grants Committee with a focus on the amount of Amador students who would benefit from the Grant and how students would benefit. Examples of previous approved Grant requests were: software that create 3D graphs of mathematical functions; software that let students experience an educational scavenger hunt to reinforce classroom work; organizational tools to help keep supplies in constant accessible locations which help students with their independence and productivity; handled computer collection units with probes that enabled smaller lab groups and gave students familiarity with similar hardware used in college; a mentoring program by Amador students for Alisal Elementary School.
PTSA Grant funds do not cover professional development and/or travel expenses.
